sometimes we may have to re-order the segment especially when only one specific GPX file is possible. After uploading this GPX file then i will add the way points and then reorder the same and duplicating the entire project will be more useful with this feature.

Import GPS or GPX into existing project
Right now,if you have part of the route in GPS/GPX file you can not add it to an existing project? we should able able to add new files, and additional segments wherever we need/want.

Import GPX files as route segments + add segment at the beginning of a route
We noticed that this topic has already been raised, but we’d like to add our perspective as well. For long and complex journeys, it would be very useful to be able to import GPX files as separate route segments, allowing users to create consecutive stages of their trip. Right now, when creating a route with the “Add drive” option, we sometimes encounter restrictions — for example, roads or border crossings that AvoMap automatically avoids by suggesting long detours or completely different routes, even though we actually traveled that road in real life. Being able to import a GPX file for each route segment would solve this issue completely. It would also allow users to visualize ferry crossings (which currently can’t be shown on the map), since GPX files can include water routes as well. Another small but very useful improvement would be the option to add a new segment at the beginning of an existing map, for those who forgot to include earlier parts of their journey or want to expand an already created route without starting from scratch. We know it’s always easier to imagine and describe a new feature than to actually build it. Thanks to AvoMap — this is truly the tool we’ve been looking for.

Ability to edit a specific segment.
start and end point editing of the specific segment. And ability to drag and drop to re order the segments. So that the duplicating the entire project will be more useful with this feature.

Re-ordering of segments
Is it possible to re-order the route segments in the timeline or elsewhere on the app? Ideally I’d like to drag and drop the segments like clips in a regular video editor such as Premiere. When I upload a .gpx file with multiple segments, sometimes they do not appear in the correct order on the app, causing big jumps in the animation. I tried to solve this by uploading multiple .gpx files (one for each segment) but currently uploading a new file simply erases the old one. Please let me know if I’m missing something in the current version that would allow me to find a workaround.

Pause before and after Fly-In and Fly-Out
Hello, I love the app, and it has been great fun playing with videos trying to create the ideal one. Quick question… I may have overlooked it, however ,is it possible to add a pause before a fly-in to get a context of the entire route before it zooms in? (Also, a pause after a zoom out to view the entire route again).

Change "default pause time" per project
We should be able to set a default time for when we add a pause . Now the system decides by itself how long the pause should be? I want every pause for this project to be 2 seconds. 1 second should be taken off each adjacent segment.

Changes are not saved
When adapting my map and closing the map, the new changes are not saved and I have to redo them all the time. Is there a manuals save button to make sure I don’t lose my progress?

It would be powerful to be able to publish the video as a public link on the web 🔥
Isn't it possible to generate a "public" link so people can view the animation online without having to download the video? For my use case, this would be much more useful... to add direct links for navigating different tourist routes in my country. Otherwise, I think it's absolutely amazing! I hope I can get in and start working on the project I have underway with AvoMap. Greetings from El Salvador 🇸🇻

problems loading images

Highlighting map area
I have imported my map animation segment successfully. For a portion of my movie, a major fwy next to my subject travel animation is an important feature to highlight to the viewer. Is there a way to emphasize an area like a freeway with a static overlay? I tried tracing the freeway over an image of the map and exporting it as a transparent image, and selecting it as the custom image for a symbol. That was successful, but the imported image was too small. I essentially want to import a transparent image, position it on the map with the ability to adjust its size and lock it in place. Any ideas? Thank you! Alex

Deleting pauses
Hi there, I have created a number of maps with lots of pauses and I would now like to get rid of them, but when I delete a pause the route reroutes off-track before rejoining the original route later. And I can’t reload my original gpx as that will mean I have to start over and lose all the symbols I have added to the original map. Is there an alternative to me starting from scratch?

Imported File with 17 segments don't save.
After uploading a GPS file with 17 segments and saving it, it disappears from my file list. In its place, a file with a duration of 0 and a default name appears.

Wrong elevation chart
I have started looking at Avomap. But I can’t find a way to get the correct elevation chart. I have the correct elevation for my GPX file. When I import it to Avomap, it recalculates the elevation data, and it becomes completely wrong. For example, elevation is zero over bridges. Is it a way to use the elevation data from the GPX file?
