preview the video in full screen before exporting it

Feature Request

I find myself missing a feature common to other video editing or generation programs. Since the video export function is a paid feature, it would be very useful to be able to preview the video in full screen before exporting it, allowing for the correction of flaws that might otherwise be hard to spot. That way, when we do export, we can be confident the video looks exactly the way we want it to. This issue could also be addressed with a desktop version that allows the preview window to be displayed on a second monitor. Otherwise, thank you very much for your program; I really like it—I’ve been looking for something like this for a long time.

    Thanks so much for the kind words. It genuinely means a lot to hear AvoMap is what you'd been looking for.

    You're right that a fullscreen preview would help catch flaws before exporting. The reason it isn't there yet is AvoMap's pay-per-export model: no subscription, and every feature is unlocked before you pay. Unfortunately a clean fullscreen view makes it very easy to screen-record videos without exporting, which is something I already see a lot of.

    One option I'm considering is a fullscreen preview with a watermark and slowed down, so you can check every detail before paying without it replacing the export. Would that cover what you need?

    A desktop version with second-monitor support isn't planned right now, but I've noted it.
