For some reason a waypoint won’t register a route or show a pathway. I gets stuck at the last waypoint and I can’t continue my route mapping. Is there a way to plot a course by manually making a path?
Hmm, that’s unusual behavior. Routing normally follows pre-existing paths — does a path exist between point A and B?
I totally get it, sometimes creating routes can be a pain. A 'painting' feature for drawing routes is on my todo list, but I haven’t had the time to implement it yet. For your use case, since precision seems important, I recommend a free tool called GPX Studio. It does exactly what you’re trying to achieve. You can create your routes there, and once you’re happy with them, export the GPX file, import it into the AvoMap editor, and animate it.
