The symbols disappeared

I don't know what happened, but after closing the project and reopening it, many of the symbols I used in the timeline map disappeared. Most of the missing symbols were those I inserted towards the end of the project, but a few from the beginning were also missing. When I rendered the project before closing it, these symbols were already missing from the video. This happened twice today.
