The symbols disappeared
I don't know what happened, but after closing the project and reopening it, many of the symbols I used in the timeline map disappeared. Most of the missing symbols were those I inserted towards the end of the project, but a few from the beginning were also missing. When I rendered the project before closing it, these symbols were already missing from the video. This happened twice today.

Alright, I dug deep and the only explanation I could find were two:
Many symbols that got uploaded sequentially
Dropping internet/network connection
I’ve just deployed a new version that addresses exactly these two issues. That means, that now
symbols get uploaded in parallel batches (way faster than before)
In case the connection drops, for whatever reason, the rendering won’t start but will continue uploading the symbols once the connection is reestablished and the rest of the symbols correctly uploaded. You just have to trigger the render again.
May I please ask you to render your video again and see if all works out now?

’ve just checked your account and the files associated with it, and it looks like you created a large number of small symbols for a video.
This shouldn’t generally be a problem, but since file synchronization is currently handled synchronously, it’s likely that a timeout or connection drop occurred, which prevented the remaining files from uploading successfully. Given that you mentioned being in a remote area, a temporary connection issue could very well be the cause.
That said, this is something that needs to be improved on my end, and I’m already working on a more robust solution. I’ll reach out as soon as I have more information.
