Symbols management

Sorry for the previous post that was all in the title. I am experimenting with symbols, but i find it really cumbersome. They appears and disappears, but sometimes you can find them anymore in the movie. Clicking fly to the symbol avomap shows you, but the still do not appear in the movie. Also positioning is really bad. There is a kind of timeline appearing with the symbols but they are NOT positioned correctly in the timeline. Look at imovie for instance or fotomagico. There you can place you objects exactly in the timeline where the should appear. Here you can move them right or left but nothing happens. I am a new user but an experienced mac user of the mentioned soft and others, but may be i am missing something
