Rout, Overlap Path Animation with Camera Movement
Path animation should be on a separate timeline layer and not need to wait for camera movement to end, they are completely separate things. Right now the camera zooms out, then the path starts. This looks very basic and unprofessional. The camera should pull back as the animation of a path starts, this is what I would do in After Effects.

Yes and no. For power users like you who are familiar with tools like After Effects, this could indeed be a significant improvement, and I understand the appeal.
However, many of the users are hobbyists, and the application is already becoming fairly complex. Adding additional features for the camera animation would increase that complexity further.
I will keep this in mind and consider it for a future update, but for now I need to focus on more pressing priorities. Thanks for bringing this up though.

Thanks for the reply, as a Developer, I understand your point, but I find it hard to understand how adding an optional second layer where camera controls can be overlapped with animation. It would simply add an option for those who want it. For those who don't, they can continue working as is with the camera, animation.

Hi Mark,
Yes, I understand your argument, and it’s a valid point. This is something I may add in the future. That said, as a developer, you’ll also understand that building features takes time. AvoMap is a one-person project, and at the moment there are other issues and feature requests that have higher priority.
Thanks again for taking the time to share your feedback.
