Intro image shows correctly in editor but exports as "Select Media" placeholder

Feature Request

I added an image overlay uploaded a photo via

Overlays → Intro/Outro → Selection of the "New Zeland" template.

The image displays correctly in the editor and video preview, see attached screenshot:


However, when I render the final video, the exported clip shows the empty "Select Media" placeholder icon instead of my uploaded image, as if the image reference wasn't carried through to the render pipeline:

Could you help me out?

    Hi Stefano, thank you so much for reaching out and letting me know this happened. This is of course a bug that I have to fix as soon as possible. In the meantime, I have refunded you the credit that you used for this render plus an additional two for the trouble.

    I hope to find the issue as soon as I can. I already identified something that for some reason the images didn't get saved to the correlating overlay. I don't know why yet though. I will need to investigate and I'll update you once I know more.

    Again, I'm really sorry you ran into this.
