"Cut Segment" stopped working.

I am new to Avomaps, but liking it a lot so far. Trying to create a route illustration and have about 12 segments. Have used “Cut Segment” option to cut two segments already, but now, that command is not working. Screen says it is “cutting custom segment” and scissors is above segment where I want cut to occur and shows red dotted line in motion below scissors icon across segment (like it’s working on it) but seems stuck. Segment I am trying to cut is 36 seconds long. Entire project is 1:02 minutes. Am I doing something wrong? Software glitch?
