Add ferries to transportation methods

Feature Request

Hello 👋

I started playing with Avo Maps and I REALLY love what I see, but there is something missing that tit is absolutely necessary for my case, that’s adding ferry transportation.

I live on an island in an archipelago of over 10,000 islands, and the ferry is the most important mode of transportation here. I need to take two ferries to reach the mainland ☺️

I will use this tool to visualize where I will take pictures as a photographer around the archipelago, and I definitely need the option to add a ferry as a method of transportation.

I hope this can be implemented.

Love from Korppoo

Adding ferries is now possible through custom segments. Just go to the Route tab, select Custom Route, and you can “paint” your route however you like.

Hi there! Yes, adding boat rides or other custom routes is a highly requested feature — and it’s on the AvoMap list of things to add. I plan to include this in the near future, though I can’t say exactly when yet. Stay tuned! :)
